Hello! Welcome to my newsletter. Every month I publish a new installment of a serial fiction story. The first story that ran here was called Saffron and Bear, and it is now complete. The current story is called Clove & Moose. You can find more information about both stories below.
Clove & Moose
Clove & Moose is an optimistic fantasy story in a dystopian setting. Clove is a witch. At least, she used to be, until the Cataclysm turned the skies orange, left the land barren, and sucked the magic from the world. Now, she travels around cleaning up pools of corrupted magic left behind in the Cataclysm’s wake.
And Moose? He’s a cat. He’s not a particularly smart cat. But he’s very, very cute.
Together, they explore the new world left by the Cataclysm, meet other travellers, and track down the corrupt magic to put an end to the chaos it creates.

Saffron and Bear
Saffron and Bear is a cozy fantasy story about the adventures of a witch and her cat. Saffron is the local witch caring for the people of a small town and the animals that live in the surrounding woods. With the help of her cat Bear, she keeps everything in line until a strange creature spreads poison through the woods, drawing Saffron into a bigger mystery.
Saffron's story came to a close at the end of 2023 and the full story is now available to read. Many of Saffron’s early adventures can be enjoyed on their own, but there is an overarching story. To get the most out of the story, I recommend checking out the archives to get caught up.
